Nara Bistro Mediterranean Cuisine & Hookah

We came here on a Friday night during Ramadan
It was pretty busy but we were able to find a seat

The vibe here was awesome. They had people signing in Arabic and playing instruments, it felt like you were in Morocco or Saudi somewhere

We ordered 2 hookah's and tea with some fries
Customer service is excellent
I like this place va Nubia. They actually come to change out your coals and check in on customers more frequently
The place is also clean and not as packed as Nubia, and it's like a street away. I'd definitely come back

Nice place, the outdoor area and bathroom are aesthetically pleasing. The service was good and I enjoyed sitting by their fire pits under heat lamps as well. I stayed warm throughout my hookah session with my best friend. The down side is they have these paper thin cushions to sit on their marble seating and after thirty minutes, it becomes uncomfortable to sit there. We wound up gathering a few cushions of stack on top of each other just to relieve the pain. I hope they buy new cushions for their outdoor patio.
The hookah flavor was picked by the worker because we couldn't make up our mind and it was good. I will probably return again if I'm in the area.

Ruined!!! I can no longer have hummus anywhere else! What I have been eating my whole life is not real hummus.
My GF lives right across the street and said she was in the mood for hookah. I don't smoke but she convinced me when she said they have delicious hummus. She wasn't lying.
The hummus with filet mignon was to die for!!Creamy doesn't even begin to describe its smooth texture. The flavor of the hummus with the sautéed Mignon in savory oils topped with toasted almond for a crunchy, toasty burst! I am in love.
Not for the faint, this place gets hot and smokey. Everyone is enjoying hookah and you feel the heat of the coals as the hookah tender passes through to retop the pipes.
Groups of friends dance and sing in their seats between puffs to the beating drums of the live musicians.
I will definitely be returning!

I've been coming here on a pretty regular basis on lunch breaks. The service has never been good, as many other reviews on here have mentioned. It usually takes a while to get someone to come and take your order. But eventually, the waiter would look up from his game of backgammon long enough to realize he had a customer. The food and hookah were decent and the place was close by so I would come back frequently enough. Well today, it was even worse. I come in around 1pm and I'm not even greeted. I sit down and wait to be helped... Then I keep waiting... And keep waiting. 30 minutes later, I waive over the gentleman (the only person who is ever doing anything there) who's refilling the coals to ask for a menu. This is obviously not his job but he reluctantly takes my order. The entire time I'm there, I didn't have one interaction with a waiter. Finally, some unsmiling dude comes by that looks like he works there. I grab him before he disappears again and pay and leave. I won't be back.

The hookahs are good but service? Not so much. Wanted a water/soda...anything really...dude said he closed out everything. Even though I paid $35 including tip for one hookah.

On top of that, neither of the water faucets worked in the bathroom #dirty

Sad. Do better Nara.

Food was ok, hookah is good, the service is great and fast. Their lemon mint drink is my all time favorite, every time i visit Anaheim i have to come to this spot, either i eat or smoke and chill. Its one of my to go spots. Highly recommended

Food was absolutely amazing! Ordered the chicken kabob plate which was served with hummus, salad, rice and pita. The whole plate was a 10/10. Very impressed! Ambiance was very nice as well! Modern aesthetic! And to top it off, we had the friendliest server - Basem. Great guy! Also, we couldn't leave without getting hookah. Got the Nara mix! Great flavors! Will be back, no doubt!

This place is cool it does get busy so at times service is lacking but they ah e a live band on Friday Saturday nights so it brings in a good crowd (they only play arabic music) - nice chill environment

Best place to be. Hookah and food. The workers are the best. They know what my order is when I walk into the restaurant
